Scientists revealed a new study showing that statins, drugs used for cutting cholesterol, may also prove effective in reducing risks of Alzheimer's disease.

Three new studies presented at an international Alzheimer's meeting underlined an apparent link between the use of the best-selling cholesterol drugs, known as statins, and a reduced risk of developing the degenerative brain disorder.
