PubMed is a database of journal publications in biomedical sciences. To search online, go to NCBI National Library of Medicine (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?db=PubMed). The advanced search is more friendly to use if you need to restric searches to specific fields.

1. To use the advanced search, click on "Preview/Index" to start.

2. Select a field name and type in your search query.

3. Click on the logic options.

4. Click on "Preview" or "Go".
