Choice ONE of the following methods:

1. Staining after the completion of gel run: 1 mg/ml of ethidium bromide (EB) in the gel running buffer or water.

2. In gel: 0.1-0.5 mg/ml EB in the gel.

3. Loading buffer: 1 mg/ml EB in the gel loading buffer.
