1. Melt 100 ml 2% agar/LB.
2. Disperse to 5 ml screw-cap glass bottles. Fill 2/3 of the bottle.
3. Cap loosely, sterilize by autoclaving.
4. Wait until the agar sets completely.
5. Take a sterile inoculating loop, pick a colony (or dip into the culture).
Pierce the agar to the bottom of the bottle several times.
6. Cap tightly and store at room temperature in dark.
7. For un-used stabs, cap tightly and store at room temperature.
