Counterstain 1. Deparaffinize: xylenes 5 minutes. 2. 100% ethanol wash 3. 95% ethanol wash 4. 70% ethanol wash 5. Rinse thoroughly in water 6. Dip twice in Hematoxylin (1-2 min.) 7. Rinse thoroughly in water 8. Dip twice in Bluing Reagent (30-60 sec) 9. 70% ethanol wash 10. 95% ethanol wash 11. Eosin Y (1-2 minutes) 12. 95% ethanol wash (x2) 13. 100% ethanol wash 14. xylene wash for 1 min 15. Air dry.
