2. Put on a pair of latex gloves. Unwrap the mouth swab.

3. Place the cotton tipped end of the swab in the mouth. Rub the cotton tipped end against the inside of the cheek of the mouth while slowly rotating the swab. Rub against the inside of the cheek for about 30 seconds.

3. Remove the cotton tipped swabs from the mouth.

4. Process the sample immediately. Or place the swabs in an envelope and close the flap. Store at -20 °C.
